A database on Langkawi’s terrestrial vertebrates via camera trapping is currently in development. Our team of naturalists is working on capturing photographic documentation of nocturnal wildlife residing around Datai Bay via our camera trapping equipment. This continuous education on animal behaviour and their habitats enables the development of more effective conservation programmes. In 2023, we managed to record 27 species with our camera trapping activities.
