PRIMUS BOOK #8

Minimum reserve bid for this auction lot starts at MYR 2,180

Secure your hand-numbered (#8) and signed copy of PRIMUS – The Primates of Peninsular Malaysia, a magnificent tome celebrating the peninsula's 12 primate species. Born from a year of intensive labour and awe-inspiring photography by wildlife photographer Peter Ong, it’s an invitation to step into the heart of the rainforest, a call to action for those who hear the whispers of its wonders. Turn its pages and be transported on a sensorial odyssey. Witness the playful and acrobatic grace of the Dusky Langur, Slow Sunda Loris, Lar Gibbon, Siamang, Agile Gibbon, Raffles’ Banded Langur, and Robinson’s Banded Langur. Know that with each turn, you’re actively protecting their haven. Limited to 100 hand-numbered copies, exclusively printed for The Datai Pledge, each book features gold-foil stamping, a signed print, and bespoke handwoven bamboo band depicting the buah ara or wild figs which these primates love to eat, all printed on recycled paper with a foreword by Dr Jane Goodall. Don't miss this chance to bid on a unique tribute to Malaysian biodiversity!
