We were honoured to host Chef Masaki of Sushi Azabu Kuala Lumpur for the second event of the ‘Eclectic Malaysia’ edition of The Chef Series on 25 and 26 February 2022 at The Datai Langkawi. Chef Masaki served an exclusive omakase menu in authentic Edomae style - a traditional preparation method for sushi fish that was developed in Japan about 200 years ago. Starting with a tropical ceviche, guests were treated to an indulgent 9-course menu including cuts of the freshest fish such as wild catch Bonito, Yellowtail and Bluefin tuna.
